Onesign Wayfarer

Walk a 3D scan of a building and place its signs before anything is made.

The story

Planning signage for a hospital or multi-storey car park usually means floor plans, spreadsheets and marked-up photos. Wayfarer lets Onesign's planners load a 3D scan of the real building, set it to true scale, walk the patient's journey and drop real-size signs at each decision point. It then exports the sign schedule for quoting and manufacture, and a 3D model with the signs in place.

The clever bit

Real signs placed at true size inside a walk-through 3D scan of the actual building, then exported straight into a manufacturing schedule.

What it does
  • Load a 3D scan (GLB, GLTF or point cloud) of a real building
  • Stand it upright and calibrate to real-world scale
  • Walk, fly or orbit through the building
  • Place real-dimension sign families: NHS, car parks, nature parks
  • Attach messages, photos and notes to each sign
  • Export a CSV sign schedule and the marked-up 3D model
